Senior QA Engineer (Mobile & Odoo)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our integrated technology stack, including our new mobile e-commerce app and backend Odoo ERP system. You will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive test plans. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both manual and automated testing for mobile and web-based enterprise applications.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both the mobile app and Odoo platform
• Design and implement automated tests to ensure regression-free releases
• Perform manual testing for exploratory, usability, and ad-hoc scenarios
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
• Analyze and report on quality metrics to stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance role.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing (both iOS and Android).
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining automated test suites using frameworks like Appium, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
• Experience testing complex backend systems or ERPs is required; specific experience with Odoo is a major advantage.
• Strong proficiency in API testing, including creating and managing test collections in tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Solid understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
